Long before the sun rose on the United States of America, it rose over the quiet fields and forests of Saratoga County, New York, a land that would witness the turning point of the American Revolution.

“Saratoga Sunrise” is a tribute to that hopeful dawn in 1777, when American forces, led by the likes of General Horatio Gates, Benedict Arnold, and Daniel Morgan, stood strong against the British at Freeman’s Farm and Bemis Heights. Their victory didn’t just halt the British advance, it awakened the world to the possibility of a free America.

That victory helped forge a global alliance with France and changed the trajectory of history. It proved that even in the darkest hours, a new dawn can rise from unexpected ground.

DETAILS: Grown on the Kilimanjaro plantation Estate, The uniquely fertile area in the region surrounding Mount Kilimanjaro is among the best in the world for the cultivation of Arabica. The entire plantation was planted with 1 million new coffee trees between 2000 and 2005. Every single coffee tree is connected to a drip irrigation system, which ensures an adequate water supply at all times. A central wet mill replaces the previously 8 decentralized processing plants and guarantees consistently high quality standards, while simultaneously reducing water consumption for the "fully washed" processing.
